Aaction Home Repairs & Restoration Inc., Maryland’s trusted name in restoration for over 30 years, is seeking an experienced Restoration Project Manager to oversee residential restoration projects from initial loss through completion. This role is responsible for ensuring homes are restored to pre-loss condition while coordinating with homeowners, insurance partners, field crews, and subcontractors. Success in this role is measured by project quality, customer satisfaction, margin performance, and adherence to company standards and safety requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Manage restoration projects from beginning through completion
- Lead, schedule, and coordinate internal crews and subcontractors across fire, water, wind, smoke, and storm damage projects
- Work directly with insurance adjusters, TPAs, and inspectors to align scopes, timelines, and documentation
- Review, interpret, and manage scopes of work and construction drawings
- Ensure safety compliance, quality control, and high levels of customer satisfaction on every project
- Maintain fiduciary responsibility for assigned projects, including cost control and margin optimization
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve project issues, escalations, and field challenges using sound judgment and critical thinking
- Issue resolutions as needed and adhere to company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
- Hands-on trade experience in restoration-related work including fire, water, mold, and demolition
- Proven ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and restoration scopes of work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Restoration industry experience working within insurance-driven workflows
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating field production schedules
- Familiarity with job costing, margin drivers, and project profitability
- In-person, field-forward role with regular local job-site travel
- Schedule flexibility may be required based on project demands and emergency response needs
