Location: Bethesda, MD | Full-Time
Hybrid Schedule: In-office Mon/Tues/Thurs | Remote Wed/Fri
Capitol Vein and Laser Centers, a partner practice of US Foot & Ankle Specialists, is seeking an Office Manager / Practice Growth & Referral Manager to lead daily operations, ensure compliance with medical office requirements, drive referral development, manage reputation, and deliver exceptional patient experience.
This role is ideal for a healthcare leader who is organized, growth-minded, and passionate about patient experience and team leadership.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Oversee daily clinic operations and ensure efficient workflows
- Lead and support office staff; foster a positive, high-performing team culture
- Manage staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance
- Oversee revenue processes, queue management, and monthly inventory
- Handle patient and employee questions and concerns
- Manage supplies, vendors, and facility maintenance contacts
- Process daily deposits and coordinate banking activities
- Assist with hiring, interviewing, and staffing needs
- Support marketing, referral development, and reputation management
- Participate in special projects and practice growth initiatives
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience in healthcare operations)
- Minimum of 4 years as a Medical Office Manager or similar supervisory role
- Proven experience managing a team of 15-20+ staff
- In-depth knowledge of medical billing and insurance workflows
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time management abilities
- Technologically savvy; proficient in Microsoft 365 products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
