Hardware Systems Engineer

Requirements

• We require a bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, preferably with a STEM focus, plus at least 2 years of engineering experience or equivalent experience.
• We need experience in SATCOM, IT systems, and/or RF test equipment.
• We look for experience assigning tasks to support technical goals.
• We require proven ability to solve problems in time-sensitive situations.
• We require an active and transferable TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly and U.S. citizenship prior to start date, as the role requires eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance.
• We prefer SATCOM operations and maintenance experience in military, defense contractor, or commercial environments.
• We prefer experience with Windows and Linux.
• We prefer familiarity with SATCOM facility support systems such as power, HVAC, and intrusion detection systems.
• We prefer CompTIA Security+ certification or higher.
• We prefer COMSEC experience.

• We perform operations and maintenance on complex software and hardware systems.
• – We identify, document, and upscale anomalous performance, then work with teammates to carry out corrective actions.
• – We cross-train in additional assigned areas and help train other personnel on the contract team.
• – We support test and operational activities as needed.
• – We work in elevated heights when required.
• – We safely lift up to 40 lbs.
• – We operate in a 24/7 environment and may be required to respond to non-scheduled call-ins.
• – We work rotating day and night shifts based on team needs.

This is an onsite position in a 24/7 operations environment with rotating day and night shifts, non-scheduled call-in expectations, and relocation assistance available. We offer a competitive salary range of 68,900 USD to 131,100 USD, along with eligibility for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, retirement matching, paid time off, and other programs depending on business unit and employment terms.
