Join one of the 24 Institutes and Centers within the NIH that provides professional Nursing. As a Nurse you will serve as the primary nurse or coordinator of care for a specific population of patients; initiate appropriate referrals and coordinate routine care; and assess complex and sensitive health education needs in individual patient populations with like conditions, protocols and other characteristics.

  Selectee may be required able to lift and move items weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Position designation will vary depending on which position candidate is placed. Designations are Emergency Essential and Non-Emergency Essential.
• If selected, you may have to pass a pre-employment medical examination.
• Position requires Education - please provide transcripts.
• Position requires Nursing Licensure.
• Work shifts may be 12-hour, 10-hour, or 8-hour, or a combination of these, depending on the unit or clinical area. Some specialty areas may also require on-call duties.
• Some positions may require a work schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
