Status: Exempt, Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Location: Bethesda, MD 20892

Schedule: Primarily onsite, Monday–Friday with some compensated on-call hours based on surgical patient needs

Kelly Government Solutions is seeking a healthcare professional to join our team at the NIDCR, one of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. You will work onsite supporting NIDCR’s clinical research and patient care programs. The position is anticipated to be filled as a Medical Officer, but qualified Research Nurses or Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners (SMEs) will be considered.

• Independently manage and implement clinical research protocols
• Educate and counsel surgical patients involved in clinical trials
• Collaborate with principal investigators on protocol development
• Ensure regulatory and protocol compliance
• Participate in patient recruitment, enrollment, and communication
• Collect, document, and assure quality of research data
• Serve as a resource within multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in an on‑call rotation (on‑call hours compensated by time off)

• Active medical/nursing license, unrestricted for Maryland
• At least 2 years’ specialized experience in research, hospital, or clinical care
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work mainly onsite and flexibly handle on‑call scheduling
