Job Summary:

Tryfacta is seeking a Registered Nurse for our client in Bethesda, MD, and 20892. This is a temporary contract assignment.

Work Schedule:

Varies by task order and assignment; may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. The Clinical Center operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Pay rate: $44.50 – $54.38 per hour Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients enrolled in clinical research protocols
• Assess patient conditions and administer treatments and medications
• Deliver specialized nursing care within your designated specialty (for specialty assignments)
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards where applicable
• Collaborate with physicians, researchers, anesthesia providers, technologists, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Float between units within your competency skill set as needed
• Monitor and document patient care accurately within EMR systems
• Ensure compliance with the hospital, Joint Commission, and infection control standards
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; computer literacy
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder)
• Ability to pass a federal background check, fingerprinting, and government security requirements
• Compliance with health and immunization requirements (MMR, Hepatitis B, varicella, influenza, Tdap, and TB screening) and N95 respirator fit testing

To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]

• BSN, nursing diploma, or ADN from an accredited university with successful NCLEX completion (or an undergraduate/graduate degree appropriate to the subspecialty, where applicable)
• Valid (unrestricted) RN license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; for specialty roles, at least 1 year within the preceding 3 years in the designated specialty
• ACLS and/or PALS as required by the assignment or specialty
• Current BLS certification (AHA- or Red Cross-approved)
• Specialty certification where applicable (e.g., CCRN for Intensive Care, CNOR for Operating Room)
• Acute care hospital experience and familiarity with research protocols and EMR systems
