Saratoga Medical is hiring a Registered Nurse
- Psychiatric/Mental Health (RN) in Bethesda, MD. The compensation package includes competitive pay and flexible contract work opportunities.

Saratoga Medical is seeking a Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care to patients with mental health and behavioral health needs. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient wellness and recovery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Nursing appropriate to the specialty
  • Current unrestricted RN license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification if required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of Psychiatric/Mental Health nursing experience within the preceding three (3) years
  • Ability to meet all credentialing and compliance requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient mental and physical health status
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and response to treatment interventions
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and healthcare needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Promote patient safety and quality standards of care
  • Perform additional nursing duties as assigned
