We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about oncology, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of cancer patients.
Responsibilities- Provide oncology patient assessment, treatment planning, follow-up, and symptom management
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate personalized theranostics treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment expectations and supportive care
- Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostics, and prescribe medications within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and participate in multidisciplinary care planning
- Support clinical research and clinical trial activities as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
- MSN or DNP from an accredited program
- Current and unrestricted Maryland NP license
- 10+ years of nursing experience with at least 5 years in oncology
- Strong oncology clinical knowledge and patient education skills
- Outpatient oncology or radiopharmaceutical therapy experience preferred
- Oncology certification (AOCNP) strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with electronic medical records
