HJF is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant II to conduct data collection through research interviews, recruit and screen subjects, and obtain baseline and follow‑up data for the Center for Advanced Research for Military Optimization, Readiness, and Rehabilitation (ARMORR) and the NCAA/DoD Concussion Assessment Research and Education (CARE) Consortium.
Responsibilities- Lead recruitment efforts for human subjects research and streamline study participant outreach, tracking and enrollment coordination.
- Screen subjects for research studies.
- Verify validity and accuracy of recruitment and participant data ensuring compliance with quality assurance requirements and clinical relevance.
- Establish and maintain database files and progress reports; may perform data analysis and interpretation.
- Perform scientific literature searches, identification and retrieval.
- Assist in preparing manuscripts, reports, and presentations, including editing and formatting documents, and distribute them to scientific collaborators as required.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities assigned or directed by the supervisor, including required training.
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Science (e.g., Sociology, Psychology) or related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous human subjects research experience.
- Experience recruiting, enrolling, and consenting for research studies.
- Ability to understand and use scientific/medical terminology and research theory in oral and written communication.
- Skill in using measurable and verifiable information for decisions or judgments.
- Statistical interpretation and data analysis using statistical software and/or spreadsheets and database software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a T1 Public Trust background check.
- Lifting: must lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand or sit at a computer for prolonged periods.
- Primarily an office setting.
- Hourly pay range $22.16–$26.44, based on experience, education, etc.
