The Produce Supervisor (Third Person – Non Union) – Balducci's, Bethesda, MD role at Kings Food Markets is a full‑time hourly position requiring hands‑on leadership in the grocery department. The supervisor will support the Grocery Manager in daily operations, oversee the team, maintain inventory and merchandising standards, and ensure exceptional customer service.

The pay range is $20 to $24 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates may vary based on location, experience, qualifications, and applicable collective bargaining agreement. The total compensation package may include 12 days PTO, 40 hrs sick time, 401(k) match up to 7%, pet insurance, EPA benefits, 30% discount, and more.

• Support the Grocery Manager in daily operations of the grocery department
• Supervise and train grocery team members, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
• Maintain in‑stock levels through accurate ordering and inventory control
• Uphold merchandising standards, including signage, pricing, and cleanliness
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner
• Monitor product freshness, rotation, and quality
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Lead by example in fostering a positive, team‑oriented environment

• Previous grocery or retail supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
• Customer‑focused with a passion for delivering outstanding service
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
