Provide personalized beauty experiences on the sales floor by engaging customers, performing makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommending products to meet individual beauty goals. Drive sales both in-store and digitally through appointments, events, and effective use of text and social media while contributing to a welcoming team environment.

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare consultations to recommend products and routines.
• Engage customers to understand needs and build a loyal client following in-store and online.
• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store selling and digital outreach, including text and social media.
• Book appointments and drive sales for beauty events and services.
• Manage sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollment.
• Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and customer-ready presentation.
• Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings with Nordstrom and brand partners.

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and customer service.
• Strong ability to connect with customers, demonstrate empathy, and handle customer concerns professionally.
• Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Drive to meet sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology for selling.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand and move for 6-8 hours per shift, perform frequent bending and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
