Safety & Pharmacovigilance Associate

Piper Companies is seeking an S&P Associate to support a clinical research and drug safety organization. This position is hybrid with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote in Bethesda, MD
.

• Manage and validate safety data, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the SAE process.
• Collaborate with Safety Specialists, Physicians, Medical Monitors, and cross-functional teams to support safety operations.
• Prepare data summaries, reports, and supporting materials for meetings and presentations.
• Distribute safety reports, adverse event notifications, and other safety communications to stakeholders.
• Maintain safety documentation, regulatory records, and safety box archives in compliance with project requirements.
• Track safety report submissions, document receipt, and follow-up activities to support compliance timelines.
• Perform MedDRA coding and process Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) when applicable.

• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.).
• Excellent attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook;
  SharePoint experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of clinical trials, drug development, vaccine development, or pharmacovigilance is preferred.
• Ability to manage documentation, compliance tracking, and safety communications in a regulated environment.

• Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually
