Job Description

Job Skills / Requirements
* Unarmed Security Officers perform a variety of security-related duties depending on the post.
* Patrolling and monitoring exterior and community areas on-premises.
* Access control of entrances and exits and departure of employees and visitors.
* Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities.
* Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
* Must be able to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures per contract.
* Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents that may have occurred.
* Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios clearly and concisely.
* Performing CPR or first aid when needed.
* Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Project Manager.

Required Qualifications
* High school diploma, a General Education Degree (GED) recognized by the U.S.
* Associates Degree
* Two (2) years of verifiable experience as an Unarmed security officer
* Must have a current and valid Maryland Unarmed Security Guard Card/permit
* knowledgeable of the security industry
* Must have a customer service driven mindset
* Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers/clients.

MD Security Guard Certification Unarmed CPR/First Aid This is a Full and Part-Time position
