Job Description

Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking an Industrial Security Representative (ISR) to support our customer site at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. This role will support a critical customer in the areas of PERSEC, PHYSEC, COMSEC, INFOSEC, INDSEC, and general security administration. The ISR works under the guidance of the Leidos Defense & Intel IT Business Area Security Manager in the application of security standards and practices to existing government and Leidos facilities identified by the contract(s).

The ISR is responsible for safeguarding industrial installations, resources, utilities, materials, tools, and information essential to the organization’s operations. The position protects and manages classified information and equipment, requiring an in-depth understanding of security policies, procedures, and oversight requirements for proper classification, access, handling, storage, and destruction of classified or sensitive material. The ISR develops, implements, and analyzes programs ensuring adherence to federal laws, regulations, and directives for classification management.

The role also manages clearance prescreening, verification and maintenance, including upgrades or downgrades, crossovers, continuous vetting, and periodic reinvestigations at all clearance levels. The ISR handles foreign visitor and facility access, special and restricted access programs, and briefing/debriefing individuals on privileged access requirements. Senior levels may include oversight of threat mitigation, including the planning, development, and management of corporate asset protection programs.

The ISR implements the industrial security program and ensures company and customer security requirements are met. The ISR will directly support the customer, protect classified information, assets, and secure spaces, and collaborate with key leaders and customers. Responsibilities focus on physical, information, and personnel security, including OPSEC requirements, and include interaction with IC/DoD officials. Other duties may be assigned as needed, including surge support.

This position is contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance. Applicants must be eligible to undergo the required background investigation. An offer is conditional and may be rescinded if the candidate does not obtain the required clearance in a timeframe determined by the company or sponsoring government agency. Continued employment is also contingent upon maintaining the required clearance level.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct ISR duties including processing CAC and building access applications; access control requests; country and threat briefs; in/out processing of DoD Agency personnel; indoctrinations and debriefings; security record management; courier card application processing; and visit authorization requests. Provide all access control for DoD Agency spaces at multiple government locations.
  • Provide all Agency SIPR token administration, CAC resets, transmission, and retrieval of SCI cable traffic.
  • Provide support for all OCONUS travel briefs for both official and unofficial travel of the Directorate personnel.
  • Support the DoD Agency Security team and directly interface and collaborate with key leaders and customers. Emphasize physical security, information security, OPSEC, and verification of clearances/accesses.
  • Conduct personnel security processing actions including requesting, reviewing, approving, and submitting clearance packages up to and including SCI nomination packages in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Maintain personnel security databases to track new employee security clearance actions and annual security training completion status.
  • Conduct security self‑inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements.
  • Document compliance activities in accordance with the governing authority approved authorization package.
