Education and Experience Requirements :

· Highschooldiploma/GED.

· FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and two (2) years of aviation maintenance experience or four (4) years of aviation maintenance to include two (2) years of experience working on mid/large‐size aircraft required.

Position Purpose
:

1.Communicateasrequiredtoreceiveandunderstandworkassignments.

Performcomplexaircraftinspections,repairs,and modificationswithminimalsupervision.

2.CoordinatewithMTL,STM,andthe

Inspection

DepartmenttoensurecompliancewithinternalandFAAinspectionand documentation requirements.

ProperlycompleteCMPcards,workordersign‐offs,andotherpaperworkinatimelyandaccurate manner.

Assistasneededwithshiftturnovers.

3.Ensurethatallworkaccomplishedmeetsqualitystandardsandspecifications.

4.Properly identify(tag) customerpropertyandequipment.

Storeaircraftcomponentsandothercustomerpropertysecurelyand safely.

5.Followstandardoperatingprocedureswhenoperatinggroundsupportequipment(externalpowercarts,hydraulic mules,hydraulic lift platforms,towtugs,forklifts,compressedgascylinders,etc.)

6.Coordinate,accomplish,andassistwithaircraftmovementinhangarandrampareas.

8.Protectcustomersproperty(PTP).

Additional Functions:

Returnitemstodesignatedstorageareaafteruse.

4.Complywithsafetyrulesandprocedures.

Useprotectiveequipmentasrequiredandbealertforunsafeconditions.

Addressunsafeconditionsbeforeputtingpeopleorpropertyatrisk.

5.Usethematerialtrackingsystemtocreatepartsdemand,track squawks,andsign‐offs,andtochargelabortocorrectworkorders.
6.Insupportofaircraftcertificationandfinalphasetesting,mayincludeflighttestsonaircraftasrequired.

7.Performotherdutiesasassigned.

Other Requirements:

1.WorkingknowledgeoftheFAAregulations,process specifications,Repair Station and Quality Control manuals ,andcompanypoliciesandprocedures.

3.Abletoclimbladdersandstairs,workinsmallspacesandrestrictedareas,andliftupto
50pounds.
4.Availabletoworkanyshift.

Position Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures.

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and two (2) years of aviation maintenance experience or four (4) years of aviation maintenance to include two (2) years of experience working on mid/large?size aircraft required.
  • Must have ability to obtain and maintain US Government Secret Security clearance. Willing to travel worldwide to support aircraft. Previous military and/or CLS experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Available to work any shift.
  • Must be able to use computer.
