Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) in the Washington, DC area is seeking a Maintenance Trainee, Rail Car to participate in the Technical Skills Program for two years and progress toward a Mechanic role under supervision.
The program combines class-based learning with on-the-job training, focusing on inspection, repair, calibration and safety practices for WMATA rail cars and equipment, with progression through four training levels leading to a full CMNT assignment.
