Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in modern web application testing and automation. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Playwright and hands‑on experience testing applications built with React, .NET, and Microsoft Power Apps. Exposure to Python‑based automation frameworks, cloud environments, and federal projects—particularly NIH—is highly desirable. The ability to obtain and retain a public trust clearance is required for consideration.

This is a hybrid role based in Bethesda, MD.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
• Build scalable, maintainable test scripts for UI, API, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Test applications developed with React, .NET, and Power Apps.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and Dev Ops teams.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issues to resolution using Jira.
• Support testing efforts in AWS cloud environments.
• Maintain test documentation and artifacts in SharePoint.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, including Section 508

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of QA automation experience
• Experience testing React and .NET applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Power Apps testing
• Proficiency in Python for automation or scripting
• Experience with Git Hub, Jira, AWS, and Entra (Azure AD)

• Experience supporting NIH or other federal projects.
• API testing experience (Postman, REST clients)
• Knowledge of performance, security, and accessibility (ADA/Section 508) testing
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with Docker and Dev Sec Ops  practices

Salary Range: $120,000 – $130,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
