QA Automation Engineer

Hybrid role based in Bethesda, MD.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
• Build scalable, maintainable test scripts for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Test applications developed with React, .NET, and Power Apps.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and Dev Ops teams.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issues to resolution using Jira.
• Support testing efforts in AWS cloud environments.
• Maintain test documentation and artifacts in SharePoint.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, including Section 508.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of QA automation experience.
• Experience testing React and .NET applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Power Apps testing.
• Proficiency in Python for automation or scripting.
• Experience with Git Hub, Jira, AWS, and Entra (Azure AD).
• Ability to obtain and retain a public trust clearance.

• Experience supporting NIH or other federal projects.
• API testing experience (Postman, REST clients).
• Knowledge of performance, security, and accessibility (ADA/Section 508) testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Docker and Dev Sec Ops  practices.

Salary Range: $120,000 – $130,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
