Computer hardware and software engineers are responsible for research, design, development, and testing of computer hardware and software programs. Hardware refers to computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and related equipment such as keyboards, modems, and printers.

• Design, develop, test, and evaluate computer software systems that control computers.
• Develop software systems that incorporate new technologies into a rapidly growing range of applications.
• Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to design, develop, test, and evaluate software and systems.
• Analyze users' needs and design, construct, test, and maintain computer applications software or systems.
• Involve in the design and development of software for operating systems, network distribution, compilers, and other applications.
• Identify and solve technical problems that arise.
• Focus on developing algorithms and analyzing programming problems, rather than simply writing code.

• 3 years of professional experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Mathematics with a concentration in computer science.
• Proficiency in programming languages including C, C++, Java (and knowledge of Fortran and COBOL).
• Strong programming skills with an emphasis on algorithms and problem solving.
