HiLabs is looking for a highly skilled Technical Architect to help build next-generation AI-powered healthcare platforms transforming the US healthcare ecosystem. This is a high-impact leadership role for engineers who enjoy solving complex architecture challenges, building scalable distributed systems, and driving engineering excellence across modern cloud-native platforms.

• Architecting scalable, reliable, and high-performance healthcare platforms
• Designing cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Driving backend and full-stack architecture using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
• Building modern APIs, distributed systems, and reusable platform components
• Collaborating with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to deliver AI-driven solutions
• Mentoring engineers and influencing engineering best practices across teams

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong architecture expertise
• Deep hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience building scalable SaaS or enterprise platforms
• Exposure to React, modern frontend technologies, and Big Data ecosystems is a plus
• Strong communication, technical leadership, and problem-solving mindset

Onsite role based in Bethesda, Maryland. Open to candidates across the US who are willing to relocate. Opportunity to work directly with senior leadership and strategic healthcare customers.
