Work with state-of-the-art tech to shape naval training systems like CIAT – Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer. As a Software Engineer, develop real‑time software on Linux using C++ and Java, throughout the development lifecycle, using modern architectures and best available tools.

Contribute to projects that become operational within six months. May travel to Pearl Harbor, San Diego, Norfolk.

Advanced degree or continuing education in computer science a plus. Experience or skills in cluster computing, signal processing, Kubernetes, numerical simulation, multi‑threading, GPU, data visualization, underwater acoustic modeling, sonar systems appreciated.

• Stability & Growth:
  One of the longest‑running Leidos contracts spanning over 30 years.

  Work hours from 5 am to 4 am allowed.

  Projects moving to production within six months.
• Overtime Compensation:
  Hours beyond 40 per week paid at straight time rates.

• B.S./B.A. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance; interim Secret clearance required.
• 2+ years of C++ software development experience; strong Linux knowledge; solid grasp of software engineering principles.

• Advanced degree or continuing education in computer science, advanced math or physics background.
• Experience in cluster computing, signal processing, Kubernetes, numerical simulation, multi‑threading, GPUs, data visualization, underwater acoustic modeling, sonar systems.
• Familiarity with Agile, Atlassian, Dev Sec Ops  tools (Gitlab, Conan, Jenkins, Docker).
