This senior role fosters collaboration with other senior engineers for the development of advanced data analytics solutions and agile development projects in support of a high‑visibility mission. The position involves providing technical leadership and guidance on data analytics and agile development projects, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive mission objectives.

• Experience as a Software Engineer with knowledge assisting in the design, development, testing, and debugging of software solutions, with a focus on Linux operating systems.
• Strong familiarity with programming languages such as Java.
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 20 years of professional experience. (

  Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.)
• Demonstrated experience with distributed scale Big Data stores (e.g., Accumulo), Map/Reduce programming model (e.g., Hadoop), Hadoop Distributed File System, and data serialization (JSON).
• Experience with programming languages such as Java and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Bash.
• TS/SCI with Poly.

• Full‑stack development (front‑end and back‑end).
• Implement and maintain high availability (HA) and replication strategies.
• Implement and maintain PostgreSQL and PostGIS database.
• AWS Managed Services (EC2, S3, VPC).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab and infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation).
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
• Prometheus, Grafana, or other logging/monitoring tools.

Annual base salary range: $150,800 – $265,880. Additional details regarding state‑specific guidelines are omitted from this summary.
