We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team in Bethesda, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using modern Java technologies and microservices architecture.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Java-based applications.
- Build and maintain Microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Implement reactive programming solutions using Spring Web Flux.
- Design and optimize database interactions using Hibernate/JPA.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Utilize Cursor AI and AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, productivity, code quality, and documentation.
- Support CI/CD processes and application deployment activities.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and architecture decisions.
- 10+ years of hands‑on Java development experience.
- Strong experience with Microservices Architecture.
- Expertise in Spring Boot.
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
- Hands‑on experience with Spring Web Flux and reactive programming.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Experience with Git-based source control systems.
- Experience utilizing Cursor AI or similar AI-powered developer productivity tools.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.
