Futrend Technology is seeking Senior Full-Stack Developers to support a modernization project. This is a high-impact role focused on the architectural transformation of a legacy JDK 7 Spring MVC/Hibernate monolith into a modern, high-performance ecosystem using JDK 21 and a React/Type Script frontend. You will be responsible for deconstructing legacy patterns and implementing modern component-based architectures.

• Monolith Migration:
  Lead the technical transition of legacy Spring MVC/Hibernate applications (JDK
  7) to modern Java 21 standards.
• Frontend Revolution:
  Replace legacy JSP and Taglib-based views with a modern, responsive React, Type Script, and Node.js stack.
• Full-Stack Engineering:
  Build and maintain end-to-end features, ensuring seamless integration between modern React components and Spring-based RESTful APIs.
• Database Evolution:
  Manage and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), ensuring data integrity and performance during the transition from legacy Hibernate mappings to modern ORM practices.
• AI-Augmented Development:
  Utilize and experiment with modern AI tooling to accelerate code refactoring, documentation, and migration workflows.

Cloud Modernization:
Support the migration of these refactored services to AWS Gov Cloud, ensuring high availability and federal security compliance. Required Technical Expertise Candidates must demonstrate "expert-level" proficiency in the following areas:

• Web Ecosystem
  - Deep experience with Web development and a strong understanding of Spring Web/MVC and Hibernate ORM.
• Modern Frameworks
  - Professional experience building complex SPAs using React, Type Script, and Node.js.
• Database
  - Advanced Relational Database skills (SQL, schema design, query optimization) with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Architecture
  - Experience moving from monolithic JSP-based architectures to decoupled API-driven architectures.

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
• US Citizenship or Green Card (Required for federal background investigation).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Full-Stack Java Development.
• Proven track record of building/migrating enterprise applications from the ground up.
• Expertise in the "Migration Stack":
  Java 21, Spring MVC, Hibernate, React, Type Script, and Node.js.
• Understanding of security best practices for web applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design efficient, scalable solutions.
• Proficiency in Git Hub, JIRA, Confluence, or similar
• Experience documenting technical requirements

• Legacy Modernization:
  Specific experience migrating legacy JSPs and Taglibs to React components (JDK 7 to JDK 21)
• Cloud:
  Experience with AWS Gov Cloud and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Dev Ops:
  Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins) and Agile tools (JIRA/Confluence).
• Domain:
  Experience with the US Department of Health & Human Services (HHS)
• Experience in healthcare IT, solutions and/or services focused federal agencies
• Experience working onsite with clients, government client preferred
