As a Senior Backend Software Engineer on the Apps team, you'll be at the forefront of building and scaling Zoom Info's core backend services. You'll work primarily with Node.js to develop robust, high-performance systems that power our platform and serve millions of users.
You'll design and implement scalable microservices, optimize existing systems, and build infrastructure that enables rapid feature development. Your expertise in Node.js will be essential, while knowledge of Java will provide valuable flexibility in our diverse technology ecosystem.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and related frameworks
• Architect and implement microservices that handle high-volume traffic and complex business logic
• Leverage AI-powered development tools (such as Claude, Cursor, Git Hub Copilot) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and solve complex technical challenges
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers on modern development practices, including effective use of AI assistance tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in distributed systems
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and system design
