Graduate Assistant Swim and Dive Coaches

Congressional Country Club is looking for Swim & Dive Coaches
. Swim & Dive Coaches develop swimmers/divers and work closely with other coaches to ensure a great season. Coaches will assist the Head Coach of Swimming or Head Coach of Diving in the administration and coaching of their respective teams. They will conduct swimming classes and individual swimming lessons safely and responsibly. They will take direction from the Head Coach and the Director of Aquatics.

They will attend all functions of their team from the first practice through the Swimming and Diving Banquet.

• Develops and maintains a courteous, polite, and helpful relationship with all members and their guests.
• Maintains all necessary class records, including attendance and performance records as determined by the Director of Aquatics.
• Serves as a lifeguard when instructed by the Director of Aquatics.
• In the preparation and entering of line‑ups during swimming meets.
• Keeps a record of members and children attending lessons and team training sessions.
• Attends all practices, meets, and team functions throughout the season and executes tasks as assigned by the Head Coach.
• Reports all complaints, emergencies, hazards, or faulty equipment to the Director of Aquatics and the Swimming Pool Manager.
• Assists in the setup and clean‑up of all home meets and practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Director of Aquatics.

• One Year of Swim/Dive (as applicable) coaching experience, preferred
• 5 years of active experience as a competitive Swimmer/Diver (as applicable), required
• Life‑Saving, CPR, and First Aid certifications, preferred
• ASCA Summer League Certification preferred
