As a Clerical Assistant 2 with the Ebensburg Center, you will step into an environment where your coordination skills help keep operations running smoothly. This position gives you the opportunity to support staff across all shifts and maintain strong communication throughout the facility. Responsibilities- Staff Scheduling:
Manage daily and long‑term schedules for all shifts to keep residential areas fully staffed. - Record Maintenance:
Maintain accurate logs, spreadsheets, reports, and time and attendance records. - Communication Support:
Share schedule updates with staff and coordinate with supervisors and managers when issues arise. - Overtime Coordination:
Apply overtime rules, track voluntary and mandatory overtime, and ensure compliance with agreements and procedures. - Training Adjustments:
Update schedules for staff training, meetings, trips, and special events. - Phone Coverage:
Answer multiple phone lines, record call offs, and relay messages as needed.
- Full‑time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 1st shift; 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with rotating days off. Work schedule details including rotating and break days to be further discussed during interview. Hours may change based on operational needs.

You will not have the option to telework in this position. - Salary:
Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).
- Minimum Experience:
Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration. - High school graduation or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Must meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act, requiring submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including PA State Police and FBI clearance.
