PositionSummary
This position provides high-level project coordination to support the activities of the office of the Provost and VP for Academic and Student Affairs, in order to improve Academic and Student Affairs (ASA) operations and events, as well as support overall student success.
Responsibilities· Take on and independently manage projects and division- and college-wide events to support the operations of the Provost's office
· Manage ASA meetings and calendars relating to college governance and other regularly scheduled committee and faculty meetings
· Identify opportunities for alignment across programs and offices
· Assist in organizing and managing events on behalf of the office of the Provost
· Provide occasional administrative support to the Provost
· Prepare documents for meetings
· Answer and direct phone calls
· Write and issue communications as directed
· Assist in the compilation and analysis of assessment, success, and matriculation data
· Adhere to department budgets and expenses
· Identify methods to improve and streamline administrative processes
· Ensure effective communications and coordination with faculty, deans, and other units and offices
· Attend and participate in meetings as a representative of the Provost

Skills:
Proficient in technology systems including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, SharePoint and One Drive).
Education:
HS Diploma or GED required;
Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience:
Three or more years of administrative or project experience in higher ed preferred.
