2) for the Liquor Control Board, you play a key part in keeping district operations organized and efficient. This role lets you shine by managing important documents, schedules, and communications. This role provides key clerical support that keeps district Wine and Spirits Shoppes operating smoothly and efficiently. As a District Manager Secretary (Clerical Assistant
2), you will perform the following duties:
- Human Resource Support:
Manage personnel documents, process requests, and ensure accurate completion of forms for evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary matters - Scheduling Assistance:
Coordinate interviews, maintain calendars, track leave, and verify coverage for store operations - Communication Handling:
Respond to inquiries from offices, stores, legislators, unions, and vendors with timely and clear information - Document Preparation:
Type and distribute letters, memos, reports, forms, and lists for district and regional use - Operational Coordination:
Order supplies, manage purchasing card records, track receipts, and support store and district logistics - Record Maintenance:
Organize office files, track required documents, and maintain accurate records for mandated periods
- Full time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30 minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $36,831 (before taxes).

- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must pass a background investigation.
