Job Summary

The Specialist, Partnership Management plays a key role on the Brand Partnerships and Engagement Marketing team, supporting the development, management, and activation of highly visible external partnerships with third parties that drive the business forward. This role provides day‑to‑day support for the Team USA and LA28 partnerships, including cross‑functional coordination, partnership execution, and delivery of partnership rights and assets across a wide range of internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a working knowledge in partnerships, sponsor ships, licensing, or partnership management and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment. Candidates must be willing to travel and work nights and weekends when required.

Core Responsibilities Team USA Partnership
  • Execute and activate the Team USA and LA28 partnership in alignment with business objectives and brand standards
  • Manage partnership assets, rights, and deliverables across USOPP, NGBs, athletes, agencies, and other partners
  • Review, provide feedback, and approve marketing materials to ensure authenticity, accuracy, and compliance with partnership and usage guidelines
  • Support athlete partnerships and ensure cohesive integration across marketing, appearances, and other brand touchpoints
  • Lead governance and consistent implementation of Team USA and LA28 guidelines outlined by the USOPP across all channels
Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver partnership initiatives
  • Coordinate with agency partners and secure all third‑party approvals for marketing materials
  • Ensure partnership elements are properly integrated across creative, brand, and marketing communications teams
Partnership Support
  • Assist with planning, timelines, and execution for Olympic, Paralympic, and partner‑related activities and program needs as required
  • Support the execution of the annual Partner Summit
  • Maintain tools, resources, and communication channels (Resource Hub, newsletters, asset repositories)
  • Analyze partnership performance across partnership initiatives
  • Support operational processes
Measurement & Reporting
  • Monitor delivery of contractual assets
  • Support strategy, planning, and measurement across partnership programs
  • Analyze program performance, develop recap materials, and produce executive summaries to optimize KPI’s and future planning
Relationship & Stakeholder Management
  • Support day‑to‑day relationships with USOPP, NGBs, athletes, agencies, and internal partners
  • Serve as a subject matter expert guiding teams on partnership rights, usage, and creative alignment
  • Review and provide feedback on USOPC and NGB materials for brand alignment
Other Responsibilities
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance; ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What You’ll Need /

Minimum Qualifications
  • 4-5 years of experience in partnerships, sponsor ships, brand marketing, or a related field
  • Proven project management across complex, multi‑stakeholder programs
  • Ability to communicate insights, partnership and brand guidelines, and strategy across internal and external partners
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requests and shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to apply a solution‑oriented approach and proven problem‑solving skills
  • Experience managing agency partners and ensuring high‑quality output
  • Familiarity with the creative development process and/or brand management is a plus
  • Curiosity about the business of sports marketing, sponsorship, and brand partnerships
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Education

Bachelor’s Degree (preferred but not required)
