We are a large residential remodeling company dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship, seamless project execution, and an outstanding customer experience. We are seeking a driven Corporate Licensing Specialist to ensure the licensing needs of the organization are met in a timely manner and in compliance with all applicable requirements.
POSITION SUMMARY:The primary purpose of this position is to maintain current licensing for multiple business entities across 17 states and within multiple counties and municipalities; support licensing expansion into additional states, counties, and municipalities; support the permitting function as needed; and support the department with research and project development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collect supporting information and documentation required for licensing
- Complete all required licensing applications and renewals, ensuring accuracy with attention to detail and in a timely manner
- Coordinate and document payments of licensing fees
- Maintain a license management software solution and filing system with end-to-end process documentation (e.g., notices, applications, receipts, renewed licenses, payees, contacts, workflow deadlines)
- Build and maintain relationships with licensing bodies and internal team members
- Serve as a liaison to internal customers and answer licensing questions
- Crosstrain on Permitting procedures and provide periodic back up
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Research and document licensing requirements and current best practices
- Identify relevant regulations and laws and accurately interpret them
- Demonstrate the ability to understand broad business issues and bring a proactive work approach

Associate degree in legal assistance, business administration, or similar required. Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of two years' previous work experience in a highly regulated industry preferred
