Part-Time Worship Pastor

The Meeting House is a multi-site church worshiping in three campuses at two locations. Our mission is to help people find life by following Jesus together.

As Pastor of Worship he/she will facilitate meaningful spaces for the church to connect with Jesus and have the ability to build teams, manage leaders and work collaboratively with other TMH staff. He/she will require a firm grasp of the values and cultural DNA of The Meeting House.

• Plan worship gatherings that are meaningful and Jesus-centered
• Recruit and develop worship team leaders
• Schedule worship team leaders and communicate with them well
• Plan and participate in special services throughout the year
• Collaborate with the Campus Pastor to ensure seamless and thoughtful worship gatherings are prepared
• Collaborate with worship pastors at others venues as appropriate
• Provide tech oversight for the sanctuary
• Provide oversight to how the sanctuary space is used which includes communication/collaboration with staff, congregants, and Mountainside Preschool
• Participate in regular communication, meetings and feedback with supervisor (Campus Pastor)
• Potential for other responsibilities as assigned by the campus pastor based on the gifts, capacity and passions of the pastor of worship and the needs of The Meeting House

Experience/Skills/Physical Requirements

• Musical and creative arts skills to facilitate worship services
• Administrative skills necessary to mobilize teams
• A growing pastoral and theological understanding in order to create meaningful worship spaces
• Communication skills from a platform and one-on-one
• Intermediate computer skills (email, spreadsheets, web search for material as needed)

• Faithfulness and integrity
• Motivated and disciplined with strong administrative follow through
• Able to lead by example and cultivate a positive spirit
• Align with the mission, core values and doctrine of The Meeting House
