• Practice Model: Direct (non-supervisory) care for cardiac surgical procedures, approximately 1.5-2 days per week; remainder spent in general anesthesiology

Practice Overview:

Anesthesia Specialists of Bethlehem is a physician-led private practice with over 30 years of excellence in anesthesia care. Our team comprises 77 physicians and 120 CRNAs, providing services across 12 inpatient campuses and 3 ambulatory surgery centers within the rapidly expanding St. Lukes University Health Network.

Clinical Scope:

• Level I Trauma Center es Bethlehem campus

• Level II Trauma Center and Mother and Baby Pavilion es Anderson campus (3,500 deliveries/year)

• Comprehensive cardiac services, including routine bypass and valve surgery, complex/emergent aortic surgery, LVAD implantation, and minimally-invasive structural heart techniques such as TAVR and Mitra Clip

• Diverse case mix: orthopedics, thoracic, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, urology, gynecology, ENT, vascular, general surgery, and "bread and butter" pediatric cases

• Dedicated teams for cardiac, pediatric, and critical care anesthesia

• Active involvement in Perioperative Surgical Home model, acute pain service, surgical optimization clinic, and ERAS protocols

Candidate Requirements:

• Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesiology

• Board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist

• Strong regional anesthesia skills
