Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Radiologyat the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical pediatric neuroradiology.

Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.

The applicant will be American Board of Radiology (A ) eligible and have completed a formal fellowship in Pediatric Neuroradiologyor equivalent training or experience.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching radiology residents and pediatric neuroradiology, neuroradiology, and pediatricradiology fellows during image interpretation sessions and departmental conferences. Successful candidates will also participate in interdisciplinary conferences with clinicalsubspecialists. Teaching of medical students will be limited tothose rotating through the Department of Radiology at Children'sHospital of Philadelphia. In addition, the candidate will be expected to prepare learning materials and presentations for national and international meetings.

Clinical responsibilities may include clinical coverage in theareas of Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI), and MEG (optional). The candidate will also be assigned tocoverage on evenings, nights, and weekends.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include leading the development of a focused body of research in the field of Pediatric Neuroradiology. The successful candidate will have prior research experience, including evidence of training in research methodology and have demonstrated evidence of peer reviewed scholarship. Amplesupport and mentorship for research will be provided.

The Department of Radiology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphiaconsists of over 500 dedicated medical staff specializing in pediatric radiology. Our team provides clinical services across various divisions, including Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology, and Body Imaging (with subspecialties inareas like musculoskeletal imaging, emergency radiology, andoncologic imaging). Annually, our Diagnostic Radiology Departmenthandles more than 250,000 cases. We actively engage in cutting-edge research using technologies such as Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound(CEUS), 3T MR imaging, PET/CT, and Magnetoencephalography.

Additionally, our state-of-the-art translational research buildingsupports research across radiology modalities.
