Abrams Hebrew Academy, an independent community Hebrew day school in Yardley, Pennsylvania, seeks an experienced Head of School to lead and inspire the school community.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of administrative experience in a Jewish Day School
Personal commitment to Jewish observance and Shomer Mitzvot
Experience in a diverse student body and observant Judaic staff environment
Experience mentoring teachers
Experience building relationships
Unapologetic love for the State of Israel
Preferred experience in fundraising

Key Responsibilities

Educational Leadership: Oversee curriculum and programs; set goals for student achievement.
Community Engagement: Build relationships with all members of the school community and the larger community.
Staff Development and Management: Mentor and evaluate staff.
Recruitment: Outreach and create demand for Jewish Day School education.
Fundraising and Development: Lead fundraising and development efforts with former Head of School.
Governance: Work with the Board; manage operations of the school, including finance.
