Special Instructor – Engineering

Position

Full‑time Special Term Contract Instructor – Engineering (2026–2027 academic year). The primary responsibility is to teach engineering courses and occasionally support algebra and calculus‑based physics instruction as needed.

• Teach engineering courses in various instructional modalities (in‑person, online, hybrid)
• Support algebra and calculus‑based physics instruction as requested by the department
• Contribute to curriculum development and program improvement
• Provide student advising and participate in departmental initiatives
• Assist with academic events and outreach activities that support program growth and student engagement

• Master’s degree with at least 18 credit hours in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
• Mechanical engineering experience is preferred but not required
• Demonstrated ability to teach in multiple instructional modalities (in‑person, online, hybrid)
