The School of Business at Elizabethtown College invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in Economics to begin in the Fall 2026 semester and to possibly continue into future semesters, depending on staffing needs. This position will teach two sections of Principles of Macroeconomics or Principles of Microeconomics.
Job Duties- Teach the following course(s): (In person)
- Principles of Macroeconomics OR
- Principles of Microeconomics
- Master’s degree in Business or Economics, or related field, and relevant corporate experience accepted.
- Ph.D. is preferred.
- Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate teaching excellence and a student‑centric orientation. They are also expected to uphold the values of Elizabethtown College and have a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate liberal arts teaching.
Please note that an applicant must reside in one of the following states to be considered for employment: MD, ME, NC, NJ, PA or VA due to payroll tax processing limitations.
