Job Description

Jessie R. Wagner is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support the ministry of the school by assisting the Lead Teacher with classroom-related duties and providing general office management as needed. Responsibilities include assisting in the presentation of instructional materials and academic instruction to individuals or small groups of students, reinforcing instruction as directed by the teacher, assisting with lunch and recess supervision, and covering the office during the day.

Requirements

Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
High School Diploma or higher
Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
Sterling Volunteers clearance

Qualifications/Assignments

Able to multitask, work efficiently, and handle deadlines
Able to work well with children and manage students in a school setting
Ability to work with current and prospective families
Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to adjust goals, tasks, and priorities, and be detail-oriented
Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva, and Smore
