Position OverviewSeeking a faith-filled, enthusiastic Second Grade Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing classroom environment that supports young learners academically while fostering a love for learning and a strong foundation in the Catholic faith.
Responsibilities- Teach all core subjects including Religion, Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies
- Prepare students for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion
- Create engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Foster a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
- Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction
- Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and families
- Participate in school liturgies, prayer services, and community events
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification
- Experience working with primary-grade students
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Commitment to the mission of Catholic education
