School Psychologist (Student Services) – Job

Location:

Montgomery County Intermediate Unit #23.

Multiple vacancies exist for School Psychologists to work within the Office of Student Services – Mental Health Services at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. These positions primarily support the MCIU's School Age K-12 classrooms and non-public schools and programs.

• Valid PA certification in School Psychology (required).
• Master's degree (required);
  Doctorate preferred (NASP‑approved programs preferred).
• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances (required).
• Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by MCIU upon hire).

• Completion of school‑age evaluations for both public school and non‑public schools.
• Consult with teachers to educate them on various disabilities and provide strategies on how to work with them in the classroom.
• Provide trainings for school personnel throughout Montgomery County.

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is located in Norristown, PA and provides services to students in School Age K‑12 and non‑Pub classrooms located throughout Montgomery County, PA. These positions are itinerant and require travel.

Monday – Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 10 months (194 days/year).

2025‑2026:
Master's, Step 1: $65,007/year
Master's+30, Step 1: $71,995/year
Master's+60, Step 1: $74,853/year

* Placement on salary schedule based on experience and/or education beyond the Master's Degree.
