and improve access to care in the communities we serve, regardless of a patient's ability to pay for health care. The Coordinator, School of Medicine Curriculum will provide leadership in developing and implementing the curriculum at the Bethlehem campus of the Temple University School of Medicine.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate the development and implementation of the medical school curriculum at the Bethlehem campus for the first, second, third and fourth years Work with the CAO/SAD and the block directors to ensure that the first and/or second year curriculum is developed and implemented according to the schedule by the faculty and block directors Work with the CAO/SAD and the Coordinator for Simulation and Standardized Patients to ensure that the first, second, third, and fourth year Doctoring Course at the Bethlehem campus is developed and implemented Work with the CAO/SAD, block directors, Clerkship directors and Doctoring director to make sure evaluations of students by faculty as well as student evaluations are completed in a timely manner as prescribed by the School of Medicine of Temple University Develop and implement schedules for students relevant to the curriculum for the first, second, third and fourth year students Facilitate scholarly activity in medical education (publications/presentations) relevant to curriculum development, assessment, and innovation Work with the CAO/SAD, block directors, and clerkship directors to recruit new faculty as needed Become knowledgeable of content taught in the first and second years and work with block directors to use this information to ensure a cohesive, well-sequenced, logical curriculum that is congruent with the main campus of Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 3 hours at a time, frequently using fingers for typing, data entry, etc. Frequent use of hands.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, or related field of study is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in a medical school setting preferred. Please complete your application using your full legal name and current home address.
