Building Based Substitute Teacher

Building Subs are guaranteed to work daily and typically in one building (although you could be requested to change due to need). You are assigned to an opening each day by the school, based upon their priorities. Please send me your resume if interested. These are all teacher positions. IF YOU AREN'T ABLE TO COMMIT TO EVERY DAY, WE CAN WORK WITH A COMMITTED SCHEDULE (LIKE M/W/F) SO LET ME KNOW!

Pay is $135/day.

An ESS substitute teacher assists with classroom instruction in the absence of a regular teacher. This person follows and teaches lesson plans, aids students in understanding subject matter, and ensures that regular classroom routines are followed.

• Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while the regular teacher is absent
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration

• Bachelor's Degree, PA Teacher Certification or Education Majors meeting Act 86 requirements
