Part Time Educator-PA - Northeastern York School District

Overview

Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs that focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students.

$15.00–$18.00 (based on education and experience)

Monday through Friday 6:30 AM–8:35 AM and 3:10 PM–6:00 PM

• Lead daily program meetings to review goals, share ideas, encourage collaboration, and maintain accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities, preparing and delivering curriculum that aligns with program objectives and is both educational and enjoyable.
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
• Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including documentation of attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong teamwork ability.
• At least one year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Passion for inspiring a love of learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

• Meet state‑specific requirements.
• First Aid and CPR in person.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Age 18 or older.
• CDA preferred.
• HS diploma/GED plus 30 college credits in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services, or equivalent alternative pathways.
