The Department of Anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania invites applications for an open rank tenure-track position in Indigenous Studies, beginning in 2027/28. We seek scholars exploring coloniality, indigeneity, politics, and deep time from a global perspective.
The appointment includes teaching four courses per year at undergraduate and graduate levels, mentoring students, and contributing to Penn's NAIS Initiative. PhD in Anthropology or related field required by start date.
