Key Responsibilities
- Design and Drafting:
- Handle complex designing and drafting assignments under minimal supervision.
- Review drawings for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain all revisions of project drawings.
- Ensure proper file organization and documentation.
- Project Management:
- Complete project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Participate in coordination and project-related meetings.
- Perform other responsibilities as necessary to support the successful completion of projects.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Effectively communicate with project managers, project engineers, and field personnel.
- Identify and resolve conflicts with the design team and present well‑thought‑out and cost‑effective solutions.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Maintain a strong understanding of the electrical construction industry and processes.
- Proven experience as a BIM/VDC Designer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in BIM software and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the electrical construction industry is highly preferred.
- Ability to identify and resolve design conflicts and present cost‑effective solutions.
