We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering and technical operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for driving process improvement, equipment performance, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts while supporting plant operations and capital projects.
The Engineering Manager will partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and New Product Development teams to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce downtime, and support long-term operational growth. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, developing teams, and creating sustainable manufacturing improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the engineering and technical support team
- Drive process optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing SPC, Six Sigma, and lean methodologies
- Lead capital projects, equipment upgrades, and automation initiatives
- Establish and maintain machine and process standards
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and NPD teams
- Support process validations, technical documentation, and equipment implementation
- Monitor manufacturing performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
- Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Experience with in plastics, packaging, injection molding, or high‑speed manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong background in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and technical problem solving
- Experience with SPC, Six Sigma, process validation, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven ability to lead projects, improve efficiencies, and support operational growth
- Strong communication, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
