Entertainment & Theming Technician

as an entertainment and theming technician, you will be an integral part of the theatrical services, scenic, and event theming department. Our technicians work in entertainment venues, drive and maintain our parade floats, and work with a team to transform the park’s theming during special events.

• support park‑wide holiday and special events with set‑up, upkeep, and strike; completing individual and group projects during non‑operational park time for installation of sets, shows, and décor.
• maintain the parade floats, props, and systems.
• drive in the seasonal parades.
• set up, rehearse, and run shows in conjunction with the entertainment department; this includes live and recorded audio, lighting, and video.
• assist with troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment within the park; including rides, shows, general park audio, and announcements.
• work with the entertainment team to assist guests.

• at least 18 years old or high school graduate.
• driver’s license required.
• interest in technical theatre, themed/live entertainment, and/or theme park operation.
• ability to provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of our guests.
• multi‑tasking and time‑management skills for individual and group projects.
• strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• flexibility to complete different tasks daily.

• physically able to complete tasks on levels (low, mid, high) and lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
• ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
• perform upkeep of spaces.
• must be willing to comply with all sea grooming guidelines and employment standards.
• must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather (extreme heat to cold temperatures).
• must provide flexible availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays) and adhere to our holiday and availability agreement.
• consistently practice safe work habits including the use of personal protection equipment (ppe) and reporting unsafe situations.
