We are representing an exciting Corporate Development Director opportunity with a highly acquisitive industrial organization headquartered in the Greater Philadelphia area. This is a unique opportunity to join a lean, high-impact corporate development team where you'll lead transactions from strategy through integration while partnering directly with executive leadership. The company is actively executing acquisitions and has a robust pipeline of future deals, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys owning the full M&A lifecycle.

  • Reports directly to the Executive Head of Corporate Development & Strategy with significant visibility to senior leadership.
  • True end-to-end M&A role with ownership of acquisitions from target evaluation and due diligence through closing and integration planning.
  • Lean, entrepreneurial team where you'll serve as the primary transaction lead and work cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Legal, and external advisors.
  • Company is actively executing acquisitions and expects to remain highly acquisitive.
  • Opportunity to build executive-level board presentations, financial models, valuation analyses, and business cases that directly influence strategic decisions.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Transaction Advisory, or a combination thereof.
  • Hands‑on experience leading the full M&A process from origination through closing and integration planning.
  • Prior experience within manufacturing, industrial, chemicals, specialty chemicals, distribution, or related sectors.
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • MBA preferred; CFA and/or CPA considered a plus.
