Small Business Direct Advisor – Tier II

• Virtually deliver Truist to Small Business clients with ease, expertise, and care
• Work alongside a pre-defined team to deliver relationship-managed advice and expertise in a pooled model
• Manage a complex book of business including depository, treasury, lending, and premier solutions
• Facilitate relationship-building and advisory conversations using small business expertise and business acumen
• Partner with the Integrated Relationship Management team to tailor solutions for clients and prospects
• Meet with clients by telephone to assess needs, review financial management practices, conduct cash cycle conversations, and recommend products and services
• Perform application and fulfillment processes for some solutions
• Refer clients to product and fulfillment experts as required
• Identify opportunities through Small Business lifecycle conversations
• Manage and solve complex client issues using Truist resources and partner teams
• Support strategic business reviews that drive revenue growth, retention, and exceptional client service
• Manage product and solution opportunity pipelines through fulfillment, including deposits, loans, and fee-based services
• Conduct pre-call planning, advising, and follow-up
• Maintain knowledge of Truist capabilities, solutions, and industry/market trends
• Meet individual revenue/profit, client experience, operational, and risk goals
• Advise clients on new digital solutions and adapt to technology enhancements
• Escalate concerns promptly while complying with operational, risk, and credit requirements
• Participate in virtual and in-person client events, including financial education, business lifecycle advisory, and client celebrations

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent financial services education, training, and work-related experience
• 5+ years sales / client management relationship with Small Business or Business Banking clients
• General knowledge of business banking products, lending, cash cycle, sales process, and current market/industry/business knowledge
• Relationship-building and negotiation skills with clients, management, and partners
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office and virtual connectivity software
• English language fluency required
• Completion of a credit training course or cash cycle training course (preferred)

Demonstrates expertise in managing small business client relationships, delivering tailored financial solutions, and driving revenue growth through strategic advisory conversations. Proficient in navigating complex client issues while maintaining compliance with operational and risk requirements.
