Position: Administrative Officer 1

Administrative Officer 1 – Bureau of Asset Protection

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) has an exciting opportunity for a professional Administrative Officer 1 in the Bureau of Asset Protection. In this role you will be responsible for assisting in implementing objectives and administering fraud and asset protection programs and supporting the asset protection fraud avoidance initiative to address financial vulnerabilities through investigative work.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate support: gather information, review documents, and coordinate investigative activities.
  • Case management: manage casework and provide progress updates to senior staff.
  • Fraud analysis: review data and examine patterns to identify fraud risks and potential issues.
  • Team collaboration: work closely with investigators, store leaders, and regional operations to support asset protection goals.
  • Documentation review: examine affidavits and related materials that support administrative and investigative actions.
  • Operational feedback: share observations with operations teams to improve compliance and reduce vulnerabilities.
Employment Details
  • Full‑time employment.
  • Work hours:

    8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 60‑minute lunch.
  • Telework:
    Part‑time telework up to four days a week with one day in the Northwest Office Building.
  • Starting salary may be non‑negotiable.
Qualifications

Minimum two years of experience in varied office management or staff work and a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility

Must meet Pennsylvania residency requirements and be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements
  • Pass a background investigation. Applicants with a felony conviction within the last ten years are not permitted to work for the PLCB; other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
